Mercedes Benz NZ Ltd

DaimlerChrysler NZ Ltd selected incadea.engine in April 2004 after a rigorous evaluation process as the core application for our parts, vehicle logistics and financials. The top 3 criteria used to select incadea.engine over other potential solutions were application flexibility, application functionality and our general level of confidence in the vendor's ability to deliver.

incadea.engine, and their local implementation partner - Avanti Solutions Ltd, were judged to be the best candidate in all of these measures. While the core incadea.engine application, and the Importer Layer - Add on module, provide a strong solution 'out of the box', the ease and speed in which they could be configured and customised was identified as providing a high degree of flexibility to our business to enable us to meet a wide range of requirements across the range of brands that we market. The combination of a international solution supported by a strong local partner also gave us confidence that Incadea would provide us with an application that would meet our requirements both to the local company and dealer network, as well as enable us to meet our obligations as part of the global DaimlerChrysler organisation.

incadea.engine was successfully implemented at DaimlerChrysler NZ Ltd in May 2005 after a 6-month project. incadea.engine is now the core application for our parts warehousing, vehicle logistics and financials teams and replaces a range of loosely integrated applications. The implementation was led by Avanti Solutions Ltd, who provided a highly professional team of consultants and developers who were able to successfully identify the core business requirements and then configure the incadea.engine application to suit. Incadea was deployed simultaneously both internally and to a network of 38 independent dealers spread throughout NZ, with the implementation being achieved with minimal disruption to the business and our customers. Incadea is proving to be a very stable application and its flexibility; ease of use and the accessibility of information provide DCNZ with a strong platform to move forward into the future.
