Introducing

Kent Robertson, Chairman

Experience: Founding Director of Avanti in 1990. Kent has a wide range of commercial experience including Shareholder/Director with Heavy Transport Manufacturer, Importer and Distributor (Transpecs/TWL); Motor Vehicle Importer and Distributor (Azzurra Motor Group – importer of Fiat and Alfa Romeo 1992-2001); Chemicals and FMCG (Andrew Group); property investment and farming. Kent has a strong management and financial background that is invaluable to Avanti.

Dave Blackford, Managing Director

Experience: Dave has an electronic engineering background and complimented this with a Computer Software Engineering certificate in the 1990s. He formed his first IT company in 1992 providing network and hardware technology to some of New Zealand’s leading companies. In 1996 Dave employed a Business Consultant to evaluate ERP software packages worldwide and in 1996 was awarded the first Navision Solution Center in New Zealand. Staying with Navision now owned by Microsoft has proven to be extremely rewarding as it has enabled him with the assistance of some very dedicated and talented people to realize a company that is now providing business solutions throughout the world.

Sara Workman, Project Director

Experience: Sara started out as a Physical Education teacher in UK before doing a complete U-turn into the world of accountants for 16 years. She Moved to NZ 13 years ago and has never looked back. She joined Avanti in 2000 and has “never worked for a better company or had a more interesting job”. Her highlights at Avanti, have been presenting the Incadea IMM developed by Avanti to BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche in Germany.
