Jet Reports supports all Excel calculations, date functions, formatting, conditional formatting, charting, validation and lists, PivotTables and more right in your reports. Use the Excel linking and grouping to do in-report drilldown of more data.

Enhanced Scheduler

Schedule reports for automatic distribution:

• Automate the refreshing and distribution of reports to your team.
• Show a summary of the report in the email body so people know the key information immediately.
• SMTP and Outlook support for email.

The scheduler allows you to schedule reports daily, weekly, monthly—on your schedule. The scheduler refreshes the reports with filters you define, then sends the report by email to your defined list of recipients.

Browser

The new browser offers a clean and easy interface that allows you to drag and drop fields to create or update reports:

• See all tables and fields even customized tables and field and third party granules in the Browser.

Drag and drop fields inside the Jet Browser, then you can edit the functions in Excel to get the report exactly the way you want it.

New Jet Formulas

Advanced linking allows you to easily create reports where the field that you need to use or filter is not on the table that you need.

Data Views

Simplify your view into your database with Data Views:

• Data Views are based on your NAV data dictionaries.
• Data Views list only the fields and connected tables you want to see.
• Edit, create, import/export and associate to data sources your Data Views to easily achieve your optimal report creation data.

Report Builder uses Data Views to present the best possible set of fields which simplifies report creation. Users no longer have to worry about how they get to a field or gather fields from related tables. Data Views presents the relevant set of fields they need. Data Views can include customisations for vertical and custom applications.
